As floods grow more frequent and sea-level rise becomes a reality, cities must adapt.
We see this challenge as an opportunity to create new connections, adaptable floating buildings, vibrant waterfront parks, and integrated flood defences. Our work focuses on designing resilient communities that don't work against the water, rather, thrive within it.

At MAST we believe floating construction opens new possibilities for housing and tourism development, especially where land is limited or vulnerable to change.
We create adaptable, low-impact buildings that respond gracefully to the natural forces around them. Water becomes a key material in our design processes, allowing us to create resilient and responsible projects which are deeply connected to their surrounding environments.

we create wellness-focussed spaces
Saunas and harbour baths enable us to maintain a connection to the sea throughout the seasons and engage in rituals of wellness.
MAST has helped shape the city’s bathing culture, from Sauna KKF, to Dyppezone - a portable floating bath in the heart of Copenhagen. We design, prototype and build these spaces from our shipyard at Slusen, making the waterfront a place to warm up, cool off and gather together.
