Originally located in the port of Havnegade, Havmanden moored boats for music, art, and culture for a number of years, but then became a café and restaurant boat – a move away from its original purpose as a community-based culture and arts centre.

MAST’s redesign of Havmanden returns to the roots of its mission as a waterfront arts and culture centre. Havmanden will open its doors to a beautiful gallery space and spacious roof terrace with music, art, lectures, children's activities and theatre and resume its place as a place of community and celebration of culture.
